Jeremy Suarez ( Jeremy Steven Suarez, born July 6, 1990) is an American actor. He starred as Jordan Thomkins on The Bernie Mac Show as Jordan Thomkins and Raymond Wilkes in Chicago Hope (1996–1998). He also appeared in television series as Tom, a detective played by actor Ron Livingston, and for his film work in Jerry Maguire (1996).

Early Life of Jeremy Suarez

On July 6, 1990, Suarez was born in Burbank, California as Jeremy Steven Suarez the son of Maria Dolores (née Pinal) and Luis Suarez. Steven’s first language is Spanish, although he admits that he has forgotten how to speak it fluently.

He moved with his family to Ocala, Florida, at age 11, where his parents owned the Buena Vista Grocery store. Suarez graduated from Vanguard High School in Ocala. In 1996, he made his first major movie role debut in Jerry Maguire as Tyson Tidwell, the son of Rod Tidwell (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.). He has also provided voice work (voice actor) for two Disney features: Brother Bear and Brother Bear 2. Suarez provided voice work for Scarface’s video game: The World is Yours, released in November 2006.

He also appeared in several TV shows, including The Wayans Bros. Chicago Hope, King of the Hill, and Jordan, the nephew of Bernie Mac on The Bernie Mac Show as Jordan Thomkins.

In 2008, Luis Suarez made a surprise appearance as a major movie role on Larry King Live with his cast to discuss Mac’s death. He provided the voice for a puppet in Nike commercials during the 2009 NBA Playoffs 2009. In 2010, he played “Cooper” in the animated feature film Zambezia and voiced Kai in Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie as “Cooper.”

Suarez made his Broadway debut as Dennis, one of the young male hustlers, in the revival production of the musical Cabaret from March 2009 to June 2009 at Studio 54 on Broadway in Manhattan, New York City.

He was also involved with Fat Albert after being cast as “Koda,” a bear cub who befriends Russell (played by Kenan Thompson). Jeremy Steven Suarez was later brought onto the film’s sequel, which allowed him to share scenes with Bernie Mac, who was also reprising his role from the Fat Albert TV series.

Suarez made several guest appearances on television shows, including Cold Case (in the episode “What Child is This?”), House M.D., CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Grey’s Anatomy, and Ghost Whisperer.
