Rory Culkin ( Rory Hugh Culkin, born July 21, 1989) is an American actor who has played in Scream 4, Lords of Chaos, You Can Count on Me, Columbus, and M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs. He is the younger brother of Macaulay Culkin and Kieran Culkin.
He is well regarded for his significant contribution to the film “You Can Count On Me,” which earned him a “Young Artist Award.” He has also appeared in numerous movies, including “Morgan Hess” in the blockbuster film “Signs.”

On July 21, 1989, Rory Culkin was born in New York City to Patricia Brentrup and Christopher ‘Kit’ Culkin. He has Four brothers: Shane (born 1976), Macaulay (born 1980), Kieran (born 1982), and Christian (born 1987), and three sisters Jennifer (1970–2000), Dakota culkin (1979–2008),[2], and Quinn (b. 1984). His father, Kit Culkin, also a noted actor during the 1980s, has Irish, German, English, and Norwegian ancestry.
He received his primary education at Laurel Springs School in New York and trained at Professional Children’s School.
He is the nephew of actress Bonnie Bedelia, his mother’s sister. Culkin’s father is a Roman Catholic of Irish and Norwegian descent, and his mother is Jewish. Culkin was also raised in a very religious family, emphasizing the Church of Christ, a fact evidenced by his wearing a purity ring until late in his teenage years.
